Noodle Rush: Can You Get Your Hands on the Best Ramen in Town?

You are broke. You are starving. And across the street, Slurpy's Noodle Bar is serving the most delicious bowl of ramen in the whole city. Your mission? Get inside, and walk out with a steaming bowl of noodles.
That's the set-up for Noodle Rush, an interactive story in Mini Games for Alexa where every choice you make changes what happens next.
How Noodle Rush Works
Noodle Rush plays like a radio adventure. A narrator sets the scene, the characters speak for themselves, and at every turn Alexa asks you a question, like "Do you want to go inside?" or "Will you wait your turn?". Answer yes or no, and the story heads off in a new direction.
Choose well and you'll get closer to that bowl of ramen. Choose badly and, well... try skipping the queue and see what happens. The chef will point his ladle at you like a wizard's staff, and your photo goes straight up on the Banned From Slurpy's board!
The Queue Is Long. Very Long.
Inside it's all warm air, clattering bowls and happy slurping, plus a line of hungry people that coils around the room like a sleeping dragon. Every time someone gets their bowl, a tiny bell dings. It's torture.
Will you wait your turn like a sensible person, or try something sneakier? And when the little old lady in front of you sneezes and sends her oranges bouncing all over the restaurant, will you stop to help?
Meet the Locals
- The Chef: runs Slurpy's with an iron ladle. Nobody skips his line.
- A little old lady with a very full bag of oranges, and a very big sneeze.
- A lady with eight very fluffy dogs, who might just need a dog walker.
- And plenty more, including a fishmonger, a magician, an aunt and a courier, all of whom could change how your day turns out.
You start with an empty wallet, so you may need to earn a few dollars along the way, perhaps by busking with a kazoo or walking a pack of dogs. And a word of advice: being kind just might pay off.
10 Endings to Discover
There isn't just one way to finish Noodle Rush. There are 10 different endings, and plenty of ways to be sent home hungry. Some are sweet, some are silly, and at least one involves dragon fire. Every play-through can turn out differently, so it's well worth going back to find the ones you've missed.
