Games You Can Play With Alexa: The Big List for 2026
By Josh11 min read
Your Echo can do a lot more than set timers. There are hundreds of games you can play with Alexa, from two-minute quick games to murder mysteries, TV quiz shows and puzzles you solve out loud. The tricky part is knowing what to ask for.
So here's our big list of Alexa games, sorted by type, with a line or two on each and the exact words to start it. Most of them are free to enable, and nearly all of them work on any Echo speaker.
How to Start Playing Games on Alexa
Alexa games are called skills, and you don't need to install anything. Just say the name:
- Say "Alexa, open" and the game's name, for example "Alexa, open Mini Games".
- The first time, Alexa enables the skill for you. If you're asked a question, answer it out loud.
- To stop, say "Alexa, stop". Next time, just open it again.
Many of the games below live inside Mini Games, a single skill with 45 games in it. Open it and say "play" and a game's name, or jump straight to a game with the command we give. Mini Games is free to enable, and free players can play up to 10 games a day. If you want more, Unlimited Mini Games removes the daily limits. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see how to play games with Alexa skills.

Which Alexa Games Need a Screen?
Almost every game on this list works on a speaker like an Echo Dot, because you play them with your voice. A few need a screen: in Mini Games, Granny Quest, Blob Battle, Emoji Game and the Tappables hub need an Echo Show, as do Sudoku of the Day, Join 4, Tic Tac Toe and Marble Solitaire in Puzzle Games, and Wheel of Fortune is designed for Echo Show too. On an Echo Show, the voice games also come with pictures, so you can see the zombies race or watch Lord Mortimer float about.
